 Sears Provides Clothing, Funding for Tsunami Aid

Sears is donating more than $250,000 in apparel in partnership with Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. and $25,000 in funding to the American Red Cross International Response Fund to provide assistance to residents of Asia and Africa affected by the tsunamis.

Lands’ End donated nearly $200,000 worth of merchandise to International Aid, a nonprofit global relief agency.

Sears Canada has pledged up to $125,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to support its Asia Earthquake and Tsunamis Relief Fund.

Retirees interested in providing assistance to victims are encouraged to view the following Web sites which are currently accepting donations:
